Butternut Soup

Butternut Soup


2 cups cubed butternut

1 cup water


Cook till soft. Puree with ½ cup water and leave aside.


Braise in butter:

1 green chilli sliced

2 cloves garlic

¼ teaspoon cumin seeds



1 cup cubed chicken fillet

¼ teaspoon white pepper

2 teaspoon aromat


Cook a little. Then add:

2 medium carrots grated

Pureed butternut

¼ cup pasta

1 ½ litres water


Simmer till pasta is tender. Stir in 125mls fresh cream. Add chopped spring onions.
