Assalamu Alaikum, Aamina, Earl Grey Tea is named after an EARL FROM ENGLAND. I know you can find Lipton brand Earl Grey Tea in the UK inshaAllah. It's better if you use Honey instead of sugar, but if you do not have a taste for honey in your tea then go for the SUGAR. It really works for me, inshaAllah I hope it helps you too.

Check out the Tea and Coffee section in the Grocery store, and you will find it, it's very famous. In Canada, you'll be surprised we can also find No Name brand Earl Grey Tea, lol.

Assalamu Alaikum.

Walaikum Salam Aunty,

wow- then I should be able to find it in the UK since its named after an Earl. I think i'll probably be able to find it in one those big shopping markets instead of the corner shop... :D I'll definitely try it out... my dear mum once made me drink tea with honey when i was not feeling well (few years ago), it wasn't so bad.

Oh, look what I found:

This is an outcry! They dont sell Tetley in every store in the usa as i thought :|.. its only sold in very small places in only some cities.. like big ones including LA has few stores but LA is a huge city to be going around by car for tea lol so i'm forced to get red label since there is an indian store nearby that sells it..

Just some random rant for you all :D....

Assalamu Alaikum, I have dozens of relatives in the US from Coast to Coast, and whenever we cross the border to visit them, we get requests to get Tetley Tea. So it makes it easy getting gifts for them, lol. From my experience travelling to the US, they don't have any good brand of Tea.

In India we get these two blends of Tea which are usually mixed together, The tea has this good aroma, and a bit of toffee or chocolaty flavour, but not too much, just a tinge of it, Tea lovers won't really enjoy it, but occasional ones do.

I wonder if anyone has ever had it, its called Laasa and Lamsa Tea, one of them is coarse tea and the other is powdered.

Assalamu Alaikum.

That sounds interesting Aunty^^ I kind of heard of Laasa but I'm not quite sure.

Don't even ask about the system of tea sold here- in the supermarket there's like a section of teabags and it contains are wide variety- half of them I haven't heard of before!

Hasib you're meant to be at the top of the top 5 :D

PG Tips- so often consumed here!

Sis umAhmed i've had the Lamsa tea, indeed it has a nice aroma but not one of my fave teas i think it's due to the chocolaty aroma.

So it makes it easy getting gifts for them,
That's like my aunt.. always brings me back a box of tea from her travels. She once bought me back vanilla tea....didn't like that at all :D
