Found inspiration,

HELL............

You kept your dunya(life) forgot your deen(religion),

now face the immense horrors and terrors of the Unseen,

screaming,crying,crying tears of blood,

so deep,just the tears,enough for this world to flood,

enough for ships to float on,blood as thick as mud,

"Evil indeed it [Hell] is as an abode and as a place to dwell" (25:66)

Terrible torture,immense regret you will swell,

you went towards your desires,took the easy route,you got influenced by satan,neglected your deen,loved your dunya Oh arrogant,evil,bad,horrible,sel

fish person,its what you deserve,

now face the Wrath of Allah,

"Verily the hypocrites will be in the lowest depths [grade] of the Fire" (4:145)

Are you a hypocrite?

When it [Hell] sees them from a far place, they will hear its raging and roaring". (25:12)

Not only is Allah displeased with you,so is Hell,

so drown to the depths of darkness,horror,intense heat,where u will melt and dwell,

You loved for the sake of satan,you had haram intentions,

now face the valley of boling puss and blood!!!

"Their abode will be the Fire; and evil is the home of the wrongdoers" (3:151)

"Their abode is the Fire, because of the [evil] they earned". (10:8)

"Is there not a home in Hell for those who reject Faith?" (29:68)

Hell is abode that they deserve:

You think you can reach heaven just by saying La ilaha illa-llah,

your having a laugh,anyone can say that!!!

Produce the actions,actions,actions....

Do u truly believe with yr heart?

Follow all 5 pillars of Islam,bulid your foundation,don't neglect any of the 5,otherwise u will collapse.

"What led you into Hellfire?" (74:42)

They will reply: "..We were not of those who prayed, Nor were we of those who fed the indigent, But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers, And we used to deny the Day of Judgement, Until there came to us [the Hour] that is certain." (74:43-47)

What caused you to enter Hell,they will say we didn't PRAY,PRAY,PRAY?

"The hypocrites will be in the lowest depths of the Fire.." (4:145)

"There will be a bed of Hell [Fire] and over them coverings [of Hellfire]" (7:41)

"The people of Hell will be made to weep, and they will weep until they have no tears left. Then they will weep blood until they have as it were channels in their faces, if ships were put in them, they would float". (1)

Do you want your head to be roasted in the blazing,boiling fire?

Do you want to burn immensely for eternal time?

IF NOT.......

Then,

Islam is a friend,

don't reject it,

death is coming quick,

don't forget it,

you live with free will,

don't regret it,

Islam is forever,

please accept it.!!!

Strive,Strive,Strive,Strive,St

rive for Heaven,the upwards struggle for mankind.

Heaven is filled with immense hardship,hell is filled with immense desires,

I know where I want to end up,does your heart fill the same?

Keep the dunya and pass the game!

Wake up Ummah!!

Assalamu alaikum, I came across this poem by chance, if I am not wrong it is written by Mufti Taqi Usmani Sahab. Assalamu alaikum, umAhmad.

I have come[using large font size is not allowed]

At Your doorstep, O Lord

As a beggar I have comeManifest poverty I am

Humility and shame my provision

Posessing neither lap nor cup

This beggar destroyed by covetousness, greed

Wraps of sin render the heart’s world bereaved

Intentions wavering, strength defeated, hope deceased

At Your doorstep, O Lord

As a beggar I have come

Manifest poverty I am

Humility and shame my provision

How does one learn to speak the heart’s tongue

That spans of life have played in pure disarray

Deeds worthy of Your doorstep, I am without

Of the manners of Your house, I have none

At Your doorstep, O Lord

As a beggar I have come

Manifest poverty I am

Humility and shame my provision

These eyes are dry O Lord, they weep not

Burning stains in this heart that douse not

At Your doorstep, O Lord

As a beggar I have come

Manifest poverty I am

Humility and shame my provision

Assalamu alaikum, here is our family's all time favourite Arabic poem and it's translation. The original poem was a letter written by Abdullah Ibn Mubarak Rahimahullah to Fudhayl Ibn Ayyadh Rahimahullah, who because of constantly being in worship in the Haramain (in Makkah and Madinah) was called "Abidal Haramain". InshaAllah I hope you all enjoy it.

O Worshipper of the Two Holy Masjids!

Had you witnessed us in the battlefield

You would have known that, compared to our Jihad,

Your worship is child's play.

For every tear you have shed upon your cheek,

We have shed in its place, blood upon our chests.

You are playing with your worship,

While worshippers offer your worship

Mujahideen offer their blood and person (life).

The smell of nice perfume of is for you,

And our perfume is the dust and dirt (which is more pure),

And it has reached us from the sayings of our Prophet,

The martyr is not dead,

This is a true correct saying, in which there is no lie.

The dust of the people of Allah is never equal,

To a thousand men, whilst the smoke is climbing.

This is the book of Allah between us,

The martyr is not dead - and this is no lie

Assalamu alaikum, I posted this before, but I wonder why it did not get posted, Hmmm. Anyways, here it is again, one of my favourite song. I know it is not a poem or poetry, but none the less, a very beautiful and emotional song. Assalamu alaikum, umAhmad.

BLOWING IN THE WIND[using large font size is not allowed]

(Lyrics by B. Dylan)

How many roads must a man walk down

Before they call him a man

How many seas must a white dove sail

Before she sleeps in the sand

How many times must the cannonballs fly

Before they are forever banned

The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind

The answer is blowing in the wind

How many years must a mountain exist

Before it is washed to the sea

How many years can some people exist

Before they're allowed to be free

How many times can a man turn his head

And pretend that he just doesn't see

The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind

The answer is blowing in the wind

How many times must a man look up

Before he can see the sky

How many ears must one man have

Before he can hear people cry

How many deaths will it take till he knows

That too many people have died

The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind

The answer is blowing in the wind

Assalamu alaikum, Welcome back Ya Bunayye.

I'm posting here after a long time, it was hard to come here without thinking about Sunhaanallah (the blog owner and my Forum nephew). Now that ihe is here, Alhamdulillah and saying he will stay, I think his blog needs to be visited, so here it goes, this a a beautiful poem which I saw by chance. I WANT TO TELL ALL OF YOU THAT I COULD BE DESCRIBING YOU ALL WITH THOSE WORDS:

To pour your heart to paper

Is a talent for those so blessed;

And a very special friend of mine

Weaves her words among the best.

She touches our emotions

Through the wisdom of her word;

Offers insight to life's journey,

To a rhythm never heard.

With caring sensitivity

She can soothe our breaking hearts,

And comfort us with compassion

For whatever life imparts.

She can tickle us with humor,

Hidden within her rhymes;

Or hug us through her verses

And smile between the lines.

Her poetry is a precious gift,

A timeless treasure from her soul,

That is offered from her gentle hand

To all she comes to know.

Beauty surrounds the words she writes;

Love is shared from heart through pen;

I am proud to call her "friend"

~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~**~*~*~*~**~*~*~

When the time will come I will die

Few will come, grieve and cry

Others will pray for a while

Raise will be hands towards the sky

After few days they'll forget me

This is what is Allah's decree

Then, why are we so blind to see

That This Life is just a Fantasy

When i have to die surely one day

Not necessarily wait for my hair to turn gray

Then Why don't i get on my knees, clasp my hands, beg for mercy and pray

"Intoxicated in your remembrance Oh Allah i wish to stay."

aameen

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

we all are around, yeah have been away for a longtime thought of this corner and came by, so lets have some poetry...

*************~~~~~~~~~~~~****************

How this life ends in the split of a second

no time we get, our mistakes to mend.

How unaware are we of our mortality

lost are we in this wold's virtuality.

How much do we really care about our hereafter

we are lost in the creations of our Creator

How amused by this perishing world are we

we have to learn to steadfast and believe

Oh Allah (SWT) my eyes are wet and heart sore

help me Oh Allah (SWT) my faith to restore

Assalamu alaikum, Ya Bunayye, Ya Abdurrahman, where are you, have'nt seen you much around. Hope everything is Okay. How are things progressing in the different directions, if you know what I mean? I just read the beautiful poem umm e Sarwat has posted. For some reason it reminded me of a poem by William Wordsworh that I had to analyse when I was in Grade 7 in Hyderabad, India. Guess What??? I got first Prize for it, Alhamdulillah. I want to share it with all of you.

DAFFODILS[using large font size is not allowed]

By William Wordsworth.

I wandered lonely as a cloud

That floats on high o'er vales and hills,

When all at once I saw a crowd,

A host, of golden daffodils,

Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine

And twinkle on the Milky Way,

They stretched in never-ending line

Along the margin of a bay:

Ten thousand saw I at a glance,

Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced, but they

Outdid the sparkling waves in glee;

A poet could not but be gay

In such a jocund company.

I gazed, and gazed, but little thought

What wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie

In vacant or in pensive mood,

They flash upon that inward eye

Which is the bliss of solitude;

And then my heart with pleasure fills,

And dances with the daffodils.

Rumi (1207-1273)

Mathnavi I.109

Love is longing and longing, the pain of being parted;

No illness is rich enough for the distress of the heart,

A lover's lament surpasses all other cries of pain.

Love is the royal threshold to God's mystery.

The carnival of small affections and polite attachments

Which litter and consume our passing time

Is no match to Love which pulses behind this play.

It's easy to talk endlessly about Love,

To live Love is to be seized by joy and bewilderment;

Love is not clear-minded, busy with images and argument.

Language is too precocious, too impudent, too sane

To stop the molten lava of Love which churns the blood,

This practicing energy burns the tongue to silence;

The knowing pen is disabled, servile paper

Shrivels in the fire of Love. Bald reason too is an ######

Explaining Love, deceived by spoilt lucidity.

Love is dangerous offering no consolation,

Only those who are ravaged by Love know Love,

The sun alone unveils the sun to those who have

The sense to receive the senseless and not turn away.

Cavernous shadows need the light to play but light

And light alone can lead you to the light alone.

Material shadows weigh down your vision with dross,

But the rising sun splits the ashen moon in empty half.

The outer sun is our daily miracle in timely

Birth and death, the inner sun

Dazzles the inner eye in a timeless space.

Our daily sun is but a working star in a galaxy of stars,

Our inner sun is One, the dancing nuance of eternal light.

You must be set alight by the inner sun,

You have to live your Love or else

You'll only end in words.

Assalamu Alaikum, Here's a poem about a pious wife, unfortunately the poet is unknown, if someone knows, please post the name.

Pious Wife - Islamic Poem [using large font size is not allowed]

Marriage to her is one half of the deen,

The benefit Allah has put in her is yet to be seen.

She wears her hijab for her Lord, to please and obey,

She turns to Allah for salaah at least five times each day.

She prays in the night and makes sure to awake you,

And sprinkles you with water if sleep should overtake you.

She protects her chastity with firmness because she does not desire,

To displease Allah and end up in the tormenting fire.

She asks the people who know when matters need to be rectified,

She is not blinded by self righteousness and foolish pride.

She is humble and kind to her husband as Allah has commanded,

Never leaving him alone, isolated, nor stranded.

She opens her mouth only to say what is best,

Not questioning her husband when he makes a request.

She takes care of herself and never ceases to try,

To beautify herself so to please his eye.

She is a pleasure Allah has given to us in this life,

Be thankful to Allaah alone for His blessing,

Assalamu Alaikum, and here is one similar to the Pious Wife about a Pious Husband, so brother's don't feel that I am biased, hehe. Timing seems to be perfect, I have both these poems printed and framed (5 sets)to give to a few couples as a wedding gifts inshaAllah.

Pious Husband - Islamic Poem [using large font size is not allowed]

Marriage to him is one half of the deen,

To please Allah (swt) is more than a dream.

He wears his beard for his Lord, to please and obey,

He turns to Allah (swt) for Salah at least five times a day.

He prays in the night and makes sure to wake you,

And strives during daylight to provide and protect you.

He lowers his gaze with firmness because he does not desire,

To displease Allah (swt) and face His just ire,

He asks advice from the ummah, and his wife too,

Before making decisions that he might later rue.

To his wife he is humble and always most kind,

Sharing his burdens with strength and clear mind.

He opens his mouth only to say what is best,

Weighing all options ‘fore denying a request.

He takes care of himself and family too

Knowing that Allah (swt) will see them through.

He is a pleasure from Allah (swt) above

Be thankful to Allah (swt) and His blessings through love.

*~Illuminate The Night With Your Light-O Allah(swt). . . . . . .[using large font size is not allowed]

Sublime ecstasy of sparkled incandescence reaching another height,

patient tears of blood flowed up on an endless crevice,

burning the current's path into a deeper frame of emotion full of light,

desires like a thirst eternally quenched by a droplet of sweetness,

captivating the 'Me Myself and I' image from a solitary distance so tight,

igniting the rose within with wonderful comprehension that it craves for,

shrivelling up in your blanket of warmth O Al-Malik during this night,

divine inspiration targets my inner petals like an arrow,

soul enraptured within your sight,

profound elements of melody leaving a sprinkly sensation subhanallah,

La Ilaha Ila Allah printed,your veil so white,

Al-Haiyul-Qaiyum accept ambitions Ameen,

descend and fill my starvation,Al-Might,

infinite nights blossomed with such tranquility,

heart never sleeps,away from fright ,

body sleeps within music of silence let it flow,

soul elevating to it's Beloved,

heavenly sweetness illuminates the glow,

let it grow so bright,

striving to reach ones Full Islamic Potential. . . . . . . . . . .. [using large font size is not allowed]

~~**Come Take A Tour Of Jannah**~~[using large font size is not allowed]

Whatever we do,we will pay the price.

Even if it means crawling for a grain of rice.

In the gloomy depths of Hell or in Paradise.

A pious believer is like a parrot dying to fly out of it's cage.

For the unbeliever this is the hereafter,the ultimate stage.

Little does he know about the awaiting reward.

Which is full of luxuries and blessings,where no-one gets bored.

You'll enter the 8 gates of paradise if it's in your fate.

Your intentions and actions will determine your faith,please appreciate.

On entering the gate, you'll be surrounded by bliss.

Remember the hereafter,forget the mess.

Four rivers will be granted by the Divine.

Full of water,milk,honey and even wine.

People will live in lofty mansions built high.

Where they'll live forever,where no-one will die.

It's bricks will be made of silver and gold.

Which not even us all put together could mold.

The climate will be perfect,not hot nor cold.

Things which slipped free,you will be able to hold.

A hundred years it will take to circle a tree.

Forget the past,your soul has been set free.

Spending time with our whole family,the lot.

So remember the Hereafter don't lose the plot.

There will be no calls of nature,no-one will sleep.

There will be no worries,no tears and no one will weep.

When people sweat,it will smell of musk.

Allah swt will be praised from dawn till dusk.

Subahanallah,Mashallah,Allahu Akbar,Ya Allah,Alhumdulilah.

When walking along there'll be many meetings.

With Prophets and Angels exchanging greetings.

Such is the ecstasy that will then prevail.

When Allah swt removes His veil.

There are many levels to paradise and we should pray.

That Al Firdaus, the highest will be where we stay.

Allah swt has showered us with His grace.

And we have to be worthy to show our face.

Whatever we do ,we'll pay the price.

In the depths of hell or in paradise.[using large font size is not allowed]

Assalam Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

wow UmAhmad those two poems are so beautiful.. Jazak Allah khairan wa ahsanul jaza..

indeed Bro Aaqibs poetry is Subhaan Allah .. May Allah reward you bro ..

Um Ahmad my question prevails, y my poem reminded of Williams Wordsworth i want to know how am i connected to him, y am i so oftenly associated to him... anything you could answer with ..

Jazak Allah khairan wa ahsanul jaza..

I will share a poem i wrote on My Mother when i was in grade 10 ...

***************~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~****************

****

Mother is a gift of God;

Mother has faith in the Lord.

Mother can make life an eden;

Below Mother’s feet lies heaven.

Mother is the sign of life;

She spares life against a knife.

Mother dreams abouth the future;

She is indeed the best tutor.

Mother is protective about her child;

She won’t let any harm reach him; even mild.

Till mother’s there no one dares;

to give us harm anywhere.

Mother is the sign of love;

She passes her life very tough.

Mother’s hand is in building our character;

All her life she says “No Matter”.

Mother all night rocked our cradle;

And we grow big to stand like Bramble.

Mother sacrifices her life;

for her family and never sighs.

When she’s old and very weak;

Then we leave and for us she seeks.

Is it right that for us she seeks;

When in old age and very weak.

Always Remember that

“Below Mother’s feet lies heaven;

which can make life an eden”
