well BAsboosa isnt difficult, once you know how to make it, its ez.

I am posting the Recipe herewith, but its a little different how do u like it.

Batter:

1 bowl Cured

1 bowl oil

1 bowl Sugar

1 bowl milk

1 bowl Coconut powder

1 teaspoom baking powder

2 - 21/2 cups semolina (rawa/suji)

Mix all the bove ingredients, you will not get a thins batter, it will b thick, and you dunt need a mixer, blender, just a hand beater will do. the amount of semolina depends upon the thickness of the batter.

Syrup:

1 bowl Sugar

half cup water

1-2 tablespoon lemon juice.

cook the syrup to a 2 thread thicknes.

Baking:

Put foil in the baking pan (this is a must, or else you will face trouble with removing it)

Put the batter on the foil

pre heat the oven to 250 -300 F

when you put the pan in the oven close teh grill let the oven (lower flames only) burn.

After 20 mins when the sorners are crisp. Take the pan out of teh oven, and cut it into square or diamond shapes and if you want to put almonds on each piece you may do that and pour teh syrup onto it.

Now on the Grill (upper flames) of the oven (please nesure the lower flames are closed or at very low)

Once its brown from the top.

Your Basboosa is ready.

Invert the basboosa in another tray, take off teh foil, and place it your serving dish... and dunt forget to eat it.. i know it looks so nice that i usually dunt let my bros touch it unti i've admired it enough.. :sl:

All the best do try it and let me know.. any questions are welcomed..

Jazak Allah kahir..

Cheese cake will be up soon dear sis
