Recommended Posts

:sl:

does it state anywhere in the Qur'an that we are not alone

in the universe? as in, any other life?

Wa Alaikum Salam wa Rahmatullah,

Besides human, there are jinn, animals, and angels on Earth.

In Suratul Fatihah it says "Rabbil alamin". "Alamin" encompasses Earth and all other planets and everything else that Allah created, known and unknown to us.

There are other examples of this in the Qur'an but to my knowledge, Allah doesn't mention any specific place or being except the ones mentioned above. One of the possible reasons for this is because it would not and isn't effecting our iman if we did have knowledge of those things.

‘Allah (swt) has created the heavens and the earth, and has put creatures between them.’ (42:29)

That means, 'There are living creatures besides this world.’

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahee wa Barakatu

There may be other creature we don't know but I don't think that there are other human beings somewhere out in space, except for the prophets alayhissalam which the Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam met during his Night Journey and Ascension.

Don't forget the animals of Jannah. There are birds described in revelation which have necks like camels and they drink from the River of Rasulullah.

Remember, the steer/steers that is running around in Jannah which every human being entering Jannah will have as a meal.

When we enter through the gates the angels greet us and invite us in and then they serve us with an appetizer (fish liver), a well-roasted steer, and to drink a drink from the spring Salsabeel.

There are trees in jannah. There are animals in Jannah.

Don't forget the Huraleen in Jannah and the Youth of Jannah.

Don't forget creatures such as Al-Buraq.

There are some indication that Jahannam/Hellfire is a Creature which can hear, see, and speak.
