Procrastinator's Creed

1. I believe that if anything is worth doing, it would have been done already.

2. I shall never move quickly, except to avoid more work or find excuses.

3. I will never rush into a job without a lifetime of consideration.

4. I shall meet all of my deadlines directly in proportion to the amount of bodily injury I could expect to receive from missing them.

5. I firmly believe that tomorrow holds the possibility for new technologies, astounding discoveries, and a reprieve from my obligations.

6. I truly believe that all deadlines are unreasonable regardless of the amount of time given.

7. I shall never forget that the probability of a miracle, though infinitesmally small, is not exactly zero.

8. If at first I don't succeed, there is always next year.

9. I shall always decide not to decide, unless of course I decide to change my mind.

10. I shall always begin, start, initiate, take the first step, and/or write the first word, when I get around to it.

11. I obey the law of inverse excuses which demands that the greater the task to be done, the more insignificant the work that must be done prior to beginning the greater task.

12. I know that the work cycle is not plan/start/finish, but is wait/plan/plan.

13. I will never put off until tomorrow, what I can forget about forever.

14. I will become a member of the ancient Order of Two-Headed Turtles (the Procrastinator's Society) if they ever get it organized.

Salaamu 'alaikum

I am the WORST procrastinator! I leave everything to the last minute, cooking dinner, taking a shower, doing homework! EVERYTHING! Hence I'm also usually late. Once I had 3 papers to turn in and 2 tests on the same day! Need I say how bad it all went? I do it 'cause I don't feel like doing it when I have a lot of time I can't really focus withoout pressure I start daydreaming and stuff.

I like things done on time :P

however, this year I've kind of laid back.. I do most of my homework the night I get it.. but then again, I do some of my homework at home and leave the rest for reg in school :D

Coursework is done just a few days before it's deadline :D

Apart from that, I like to be oragnisd and do things on time :P

I Blame IF.......

Honestly everything is lastminute(contact admin if its a beneficial link) with me, its the worse and plus why do stuff i can do later? At school/college i hated them people who would do all their work on time, and then refuse to help me! ARGH some people *rolleyes* Amazing there is a word for everything lol......but i thought work would be different but i guess its much the same.....Have you done what i asked you to do last week? Yes.

<-------- starts typing very fast. Alhumdillah i learn to touchtype or else i would be wreck by now. Alhumdillah

I still blame IF..... :D

No not really, I'm a do it now person. Leaving it for later is not a good idea, since sometimes things come up later and you have tons of things to do in the end.

Don't say you'll do things later unless Allah (subhanu wataala) wills, insha'Allah :P
