Thank You!

Recommended Posts

:sl:

Hello everybody, I have a question on the word, "thank you"

Now I know the word is Shokran, but this is what I am confused about

ÔßÑÇ áß [using large font size is not allowed]

Now, after have studying arabic script, I know what all these letters are, but when I read them, I don't find Shokran, (Shkrn), but I find Shkralk

What am I reading wrong?

SH-K-R-A-L-K, right?

Wasalaam

Asslamu alikum ..

I don't understand what you mean exactly ..

but , Shokranlak شكرا لك [using large font size is not allowed] is using when you talking to someone I mean shokran means in english language - Thank - and shokranlak means - thank you -

So when you whant to thanking someone you can say ( Shokran OR Shokranlak ) ..

Shokranlak is correct word .. Shokranlak ( lak ) means ( you )

I hope it be clear for you . If it is not you can ask me again .. :sl:

Thank you, that was EXTREMELY clear, it makes complete sense now.

Though I have one more question, I do not see "noon" (ä [using large font size is not allowed]) anywhere, where does the "n" sound come from

thank you so much!

Alhamdulellah ..

Okey , noon ( ن[using large font size is not allowed] ) sound comes from ( شكرا[using large font size is not allowed] ) the Aleef letter , and it is called in Arabic * Alef altanween * and it is write as شكراً [using large font size is not allowed] with 2 lines on Alef letter ..

so the shape of * Alef Altanween * is ( اً [using large font size is not allowed] )

thank you so much!

you are welcome brother ..
