Why Islam?

Recommended Posts

To those Muslims out there, why do you believe in Islam?

How do you know for sure that the prophet Mohammed (PBUH) wasn't a liar?

How do you know that what Mohammed (PBUH) recited to his followers was a genuine message from God?

1. In 23 Years, Muslims Went from Being Powerless to Control the World.

When Islam started in Mecca, it was the prophet Mohammed by himself. A one man religion. He was exposed to punishments and oppression. The people who first entered Islam were weak and also were oppressed and tortured by the pagans of Mecca (their relatives). Forward 23 years later to see the transformation of these uneducated powerless individuals to the most powerful ones and to control the world.

The Arabs at the time of the prophet peace be upon him (6th century) were tribes and clans fighting each other. The Romans and the Persians were vast powerful empires. Forward 23 years later to see how some powerless individuals were able climb the mountain of world power to take over the Persian empire and the Roman empire and introduce new world order.

Not only did this transformation achieve miraculousness in its happenings but it’s also marvelous in its timing and its duration.

Had it not been to Islam, the world would be different (much worse). The heroes of Islam would not have been heroes but would have been forgotten.

2. The Quran and its Eloquence as a Linguistic Miracle.

As the Arabs of that time were so linguistically gifted, a linguistic miracle was fit for the situation. Quran was sent to people who were so eloquent in the Arabic language. If the Quran was not a linguistic miracle, then any of the Arabs and Arab poets in Mekkah (where the prophet peace be upon him stayed for 13 years calling people to worship Allah alone) would come up and say some poetry to challenge the Quran (since the challenge to them was clear) but none was able to challenge the eloquence of the Quran.

The miraculousness of the Quran is an axiom to whomever studies Arabic academically.

3. Inheritance and Economic System in Islam

Not only that, but the Islamic heritage system was revealed in only 2 verses. The Islamic heritage system is one that is comprehensive and astonishing in its detail. It has covered all cases and all situations in the most fair way. Such system was not known at all at the time of the prophet peace be upon him. No other religion has such system. How can an illiterate man come up with such system? A system that had no equal at that time.

The Islamic economic system is also a system of wonders. It has the compatibility to encompass all types of old and new business maneuvers. It also has the ability to provide welfare for all people. It’s not a theory but a system which is implemented throughout the world and has been applied through history with ultimate success.

How can an illiterate man from the 6th century come up with such system? How can a Sheppard in the desert in the Arabic peninsula design such a system? A system that had no equal at its time. A system which competes with the most recent business and economics sciences and is proven to have more success.

The answer is: he couldn’t. It was revealed to him.

4. Islam is the Only Religion that Makes Sense in Terms of Spirituality and Materialism

In our world, religion becomes more of a shopping center where almost every person could come up with a religion or a version of a religion. It makes it hard to distinguish the true religion from the fake ones. Some have went all spiritual on the scale of spirituality. Others have gone all the way to materialism. Only Islam can gather both ends in a harmonic mixture. In Islam, Muslims are to build this earth and make it prosper be it in agriculture, industry, sciences, etc. We are ordered to protect life and property of all people who do not transgress and oppress us. We are ordered that if the day of Judgement comes and one has a plant in his hand to plant it. We are allowed to marry, have children and enjoy life.

On the other hand, we are also responsible for our actions and we will be accounted for them. We should always work for the hereafter and wish to please God our creator.

Islam is also a whole way of life. It deals with economics. It sets rules for dealings between humans and animals to dealings between humans and humans to rights of neighbors and parents to the relationship between human beings and the creator.

5. Scientific Proof in the Quran and the Sunnah

Just to make it clear, the Quran is not a science book but it does not contradict with science.

6. Quran is the Only Book which Has Been Protected from Altercations

Whether you are a Muslim or not, one thing all scholars have agreed upon: The Quran has been preserved as it was revealed to the prophet in the 6th century. Copies of the Quran are still available in Tashqand and Cairo. One of the properties of the Muslim Nation is “ISNAD”. Isnad means means having narration chains where each person in the narration chain is well known and has his life recorded and studies.

The holy Quran has been narrated through narration chains where a large group of narrators who are of very strong memory and minds have narrated the same text from one generation to the next (with the condition of actually meeting each other and listening to each other with no time gaps). This large group of narrators cannot all agree on a lie. The names and the life stories of EACH person is recorded and studied. Each narrator has his whole family recorded.

These narrations have agreed with the copies from the Quran.

Compare that with the current bible for example where there is no recorded narration chains (without putting the condition of having no time gaps or even having names for those narrators). Compare the Quran with current bible where you have thousands of manuscripts; no two are the same. Compare that with the writers of the bible where you only have one name: John who? Luke who? What is their last name?

The Quran has been revealed in Arabic and it’s read in Arabic. For the first time, the people speak the language of the prophet not the other way around. There are translations of the Quran in different languages but the Quran is in Arabic and should be read in Arabic noting that ‘translations of meaning’ is different than a version.

The Sunnah or the traditions of the prophet are protected through the same narration chains.

That being said; the Quran and the Sunnah have two distinct styles which have never contradicted.

7. God in Islam is the Creator

Most people who do not believe in God have an altered image of God. I do not believe in God who has human qualities. I do not believe in God who is born and can die. I do not believe in God who has human weaknesses. I do not believe in God who hisses and can manifest himself in his creations such as a cow. Hence, many Christians and other religious followers have doubts in their Gods and then some of them throw these doubts behind their backs and say we have faith while others just throw these doubts and refuse the idea of God.

I do believe in God who is the creator of the heavens and the earth. I believe in God who has created everything that lives. So who is God in Islam?

God describes himself in the Quran as: Allâh! Lâ ilâha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), Al-Hayyul-Qayyum (the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists). Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursî [1] extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayat-ul-Kursî ]

8. Islam is the Largest Spreading Religion in this World

Islam is the largest spreading religion in the western world and not because Muslims have more children than others. More than 20000 Americans convert to Islam each year. 4000 have converted to Islam in Germany this year (2007) alone. Thousands are converting to Islam in Latin America. WHY?

9. Have You Been to a Masjid?

If you have been to a Masjid, you would know what the word equality means. You would see Americans with Asians with Arabs with Hispanic all in one place; all are brothers who will protect each other and truly love each other. You would see all nations and colors in one place bowing down for the creator. Hundreds of years and millions of dollars would never gather these people together and make them brothers but Islam did. Don’t believe me; visit any Masjid near you and there is probably one near you.

10. Consistency of Islam in Changing Times

Whether you are a Muslim or a person who attacks Islam , you would agree that Islam has been constant in these changing times. Nothing else has been constant. Muslims still think the the way of the prophets and the way of success.

The Literal Miracle of the Quran:

The miracles that were given to the prophets were chosen so that they would have the greatest impact on that particular nation. Thus, since the people of the time of Moses greatly excelled in the ‘art’ of sorcery and magic, the miracles that were given to Moses were of a similar type, except much stronger and more powerful (for example, the staff, the shining hand, the splitting of the Red Sea, and others). Likewise, the people at the time of Jesus excelled in the art of healing and medicine, and therefore, the miracles that were given to Jesus were of a similar type, except much stronger and more powerful (for example, healing the leper, curing the sick, raising the dead, and others).

During the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Arabs had reached the peak of eloquence, and this was their most prized art! Poetry was what they valued the most, and each tribe competed with others to see which one could produce the most skilled and eloquent poet. During the annual fair of ‘Ukhaadh, poets from all over Arabia would compete for the honour of having their poem win the highest praise: that of being posted on the door of the Ka’bah (the House in Makkah) until the next fair.

Due to this pride that was prevalent among the Arabs, the miracle that was given to the Prophet (peace be upon him) was of similar nature; Allah revealed the Quran in an Arabic that was so emotive and eloquent that the Arabs could clearly see it was a miracle from their Creator. On top of this, Allah challenged them to bring forth anything similar to the Quran, and told them that such attempts would be futile,

{And if you are in doubt as to what We have sent down to Our servants, then produce a chapter similar to it…, if you are truthful. But if you do not do it – and of a surety you cannot do it – then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers} (Quran, 2:23-24)

Till this day, though many have tried, no one has been able to produce a single chapter like the chapters of the Quran in their beauty, eloquence, splendor, wise legislation, true information, true prophecy, and other perfect attributes.

Although the literary aspect of the Quran is the strongest and most apparent aspect of its miracle, is the most difficult aspect to discuss in non-Arabic terms. The Quran is in “…clear Arabic” (Quran, 26:195), and in order to understand its miracle in this respect, a thorough understanding of the Arabic language is essential. However, it would be more prudent to give two examples (of the many examples recorded) of the impact that the eloquence of the Quran had on its first listeners.

Perhaps one of the most famous stories is the story of al-Waleed ibn al-Mugheerah. Al-Waleed was the most eloquent and highly esteemed poet of Makkah at the time of the Prophet. He once passed by the Prophet (peace be upon him), and heard him reciting the Quran. This had a visible effect on him, and he went away shaken and startled by what he had heard. The news of this incident spread throughout Makkah. Aboo Jahl, a staunch opponent of Islam who was afraid that the people of Makkah might be affected by this news and convert to Islam, rushed to al-Waleed, and told him, “O my uncle! Say something (against Muhammad (peace be upon him)) so that the people will know that you are against him and hate (his message).”

Al-Waleed replied, “And what can I say? For I swear by Allah (note: the disbelievers like al-Waleed believed in Allah as the Creator, but they were still pagans in worship), there is none amongst you who knows poetry as well as I do, nor can any compete with me in composition or rhetoric – not even in the poetry of jinns (i.e. genies)! And yet, I swear by Allah, Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) speech (meaning the Quran) does not bear any similarity to anything I know, and I swear by Allah, the speech that he says is very sweet, and is adorned with beauty and charm. Its first part is fruitful and its last part is abundant (meaning it is full of deep meanings), and it conquers (all other speech), and remains unconquered! It shatters and destroys all that has come before it (of poetry, because of its eloquence)!” Aboo Jahl responded, “Your people will not be satisfied until you speak against him!” Al-Waleed therefore requested Aboo Jahl, “Leave me for a few days, so that I may think of an appropriate response to give to the (people of) Quraish.”

After the few days were over, Aboo Jahl came back to him and asked him what he had prepared. Al-Waleed, during this time, could not think of any explanation to give except, “This (the Quran) is a type of magic that has an effect on its listeners.” In response to this, Allah revealed,

{Nay! Verily he (i.e. al-Waleed) has been stubborn in opposing our verses and signs… Verily, he thought and plotted; So let him be cursed, how he plotted! And once more, let him be cursed; how he plotted! Then he thought! Then he frowned and was irritated; then he turned back and was proud! Then he said, ‘this is nothing but magic from old; this is nothing but the word of a mortal!’ I will cast him into the Hell-fire…} (Quran, 74:16-26] (Any person who understands even the most basic amount of Arabic cannot help but notice the sheer power and eloquence of these very verses themselves.) This, then, is the testimony from the greatest poet alive at the time of the Prophet (peace be upon him)!

Yet another incident is that of Utbah ibn Rabee. Utbah was once sitting with other members of the Quraish, and the subject of Muhammad (peace be upon him) came up. The elders of the Quraish began complaining about all the problems that this ‘new’ message had caused among their people, and started to discuss various ways that they could rid themselves of this irritating problem. Utbah suggested that perhaps the Prophet (peace be upon him) could be convinced of giving up his message, if only it was explained to him in a gentle manner the problems that his message had been causing. Common sense, Utbah argued, would prevail. As proof of his convictions, Utbah himself volunteered to be the one to go and talk to the Prophet (peace be upon him).

He therefore set out to meet the Prophet (peace be upon him), and started to try to convince him to abandon preaching this ‘new’ message, and let the Quraish return to the paganism of their ancestors. After finishing his plea, the Prophet (peace be upon him) asked, “Have you finished, O Aboo al-Waleed (the nickname of Utbah)?” When he replied in affirmative, the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Then listen to me:

{In the Name of Allah, the Ever-Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy. Haa Meem. A revelation from Allah, the Ever-Merciful, the Bestower of Mercy. (This is) a book whose verses are explained in detail – a Quran in Arabic, for a people who reflect. Giving glad tidings, and warning of (a severe punishment). But most of them turn away, so they listen not…} (Quran, 41:1-4)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) continued to recite, until he finished the chapter. Utbah sat quietly, entranced by what he was hearing. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “You have heard what you have heard, so do as you please.”

When Utbah returned to his people, they said to themselves, “I swear by the Lord of the Ka’bah (i.e. the House in Makkah), this Utbah is not the same as the Utbah that left us!” And indeed, it was not the same Utbah. He said, “O people! I have heard a speech the like of which I have never heard before. I swear by Allah, it is not magic, nor is it poetry, nor is it sorcery. O gathering of Quraish, listen to me. Leave this man alone, for I swear by Allah, the speech that I have heard from him (meaning the Quran) will soon be news…”

The Quran is the miracle of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He was given this miracle as the ultimate proof for his Prophethood.

{And they say, ‘Why are not miracles sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say: ‘The signs are only with Allah, and I am only a plain warner.’ Is it not a sufficient (miracle) for them that We have sent down to you the Book which is recited to them? Verily, therein is a mercy and a reminder for a people who believe.} (Quran, 29:50-51)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) also alluded to the status of the miracle of the Quran when he said: “There has not been a single prophet except that Allah gave him miracles because of which people believed in him. I have been given (as a miracle) the Inspiration (i.e. The Quran) which Allah revealed to me. I hope, therefore, that I will have the largest number of followers on the Day of Judgement.”

The Prophet (peace be upon him) also carried out other miracles in his time such as the splitting of the moon, the increasing of an inadequate amount of food to a very large quantity, the speaking of stones, animals, and trees to him, the sprouting of water from his hands when the companions were short of it, as well as other miracles. However none of these miracles were permanent – they occurred in front of specific groups of people at specific times and places.

Man being the frail creature that he is, the impact of the written words is much less than the impact of sight. These miracles of a surety occurred, but the effect that these miracles had on those who saw them is much greater than the impact that it will have on later generations who merely read about them. The beauty and power of the Quran is that it removes the constraints of time and place upon the miracle – the Quran is a permanent miracle for all generations after the Prophet (peace be upon him) to see and appreciate, no matter where they live, or what time frame they are born in.

Miracles of The Messenger of Allah:

The Messenger of Allah possesses many manifest miracles and signs demonstrating [his veracity], reaching thousands and they are well known.

From amongst them was the Qur'an, the manifest and clear miracle and brilliant proof, falsehood cannot approach it from before it or behind it. It is a revelation from One Who is All-Wise and Praiseworthy. It incapacitated the most eloquent of people in the most eloquent of times to produce a single chapter that would be comparable to it, even if the whole of creation were to gather for that purpose. Allah, the Exalted says,

"Say: If the whole of mankind and the jinn gathered in order to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like of it, even if they assisted each other." [Al-Israa' (17): 88]

It challenged them to this despite their large numbers, their eloquence and their severe enmity, and it challenges them to this day.

As for the other miracles, it is not possible to enumerate them all due to their huge number and renewing and increasing nature. However, I will mention some examples:

The splitting of the moon,

water flowing from between his fingers,

increasing the quantity of food and water,

the glorification of the food,

the palm tree yearning for him,

stones greeting him,

the talking of the poisoned leg [of roasted sheep], trees walking towards him,

two trees that were far apart coming together and then parting again,

the barren [and therefore dry] sheep giving milk,

his returning the eye of Qatidah bin an-Nu`man to its place with his hand after it had slipped out,

his spitting lightly into the eye of Ali when it had become inflamed and its being cured almost immediately, his wiping the leg of `Abdullah bin `Atiq whereupon he was immediately cured.

His informing of the places of death of the Day of Badr saying, 'this is the place of such polytheists on the and-such a person.' His informing of his killing Ubayy bin Khalaf, that a group of his nation would traverse an ocean and Umm Haram would be amongst them and this occurred. That all that was drawn together for him of the ends of the earth and displayed to him would be opened for his nation, that the treasures of the Chosroes would be spent by his nation in the Way of Allah, the Mighty and Magnificent. That he feared for his nation that they would be tempted by the wealth and allurement of this world and that the treasures of the Persians and Romans would be ours and that Suraqah bin Malik would wear the trousers of Chosroes.

He informed us that Hasan bin `Ali would reconcile between two large warring parties of the Muslims, that Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas would live such that nations would benefit by him and others would be harmed. That an-Najashi had died on this particular day while he was in Ethiopia and that al-Aswad al-`Ansi had been killed on this particular day while he was in Yemen.

That the Muslims would fight the Turks who were described as having small eyes, wide faces and small, chiselled noses and that Yemen, Syria and Iraq would be conquered by the Muslims.

He informed us that the Muslims would comprise three armies, an army in Syria, and army in Yemen and an army in Iraq. That they would conquer Egypt, a land whose [unit of land measurement] was the Qirat, that they should deal with their people well for they have protection [being Copts] and ties of kinship [through Hajar]. That Awais al-Qarni would come to you from the auxiliaries of Yemen, he would be afflicted with leprosy and it would be healed except for the space of a dirham, and he indeed arrived during the rule of `Umar.

He informed us that a group of his nation would always be upon the truth and that mankind would become many in number and that the Ansar would diminish in number and that the Ansar would not be given their due [with regards distribution of wealth and leadership]. That mankind would keep on asking questions until they would say, "Allah created the creation..." [Referring to the hadeeth, "the people would continue asking until they say, 'this is Allah Who created everything…but who created Allah?'" (al-Bukhari and Muslim)]

He informed us that Ruwayfi` bin Thabit would live a long life, that Ammar bin Yasir would be killed by the transgressing group, that this nations shall divide into sects and that they would fight each other.

He informed us that a fire would emanate from the land of Hijaz and the likes of this. All of this occurred exactly as he (sallallahu `alayhe wa sallam) said it would.

He said to Thabit bin Qays, "You will live being praised... and you will die as a martyr", and he lived being praised and was martyred at al-Yamamah. He said to `Uthman, "He would be afflicted by a severe trial." [The meaning of severe trial is his being imprisoned in his house and his being killed by the transgressors.]

He said about a person amongst the Muslims who had just fought a severe fight that

"He would be from amongst the denizens of the Fire", and later he committed suicide. Wabisah bin Ma`bad came to him in order to ask him about righteousness and sin upon which he asked, "Have you come to ask about righteousness and sin?"

He said to `Ali, az-Zubair and al-Miqdad, "Go to the garden of Khakh for indeed there is Dha`inah" who has a book with her. [Dha`inah is the woman with whom Hasib al-Balta`ah (radhiAllahu `anhu) sent a letter to the people of Mecca in order to inform them of the plans of the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu `alayhe wa sallam) to fight them. It was concerning this that the first verses of Surah Mumtahinah were revealed.

The garden of Khakh is a place falling between Mecca and Madinah. Refer to Bukhari [no. 3983] and Muslim [no. 2494] and Tafsir ibn Kathir [4/344]]

They found her there but she initially denied having the book and then took it out from within her braids.

He said to Abi Hurayrah, when Satan had stolen some dates, "Indeed he shall return" and he did. He said to his wives, "The most prolific of you in giving charity will be the quickest of you to join me." and it was so [Zaynab bint Jahsh (radhi Allahu `anha) was the most prolific of them in giving charity and was the first to die. Refer to Muslim [no. 2452].]

He said to 'Abdullah bin Sallam, "You will remain upon Islam until you die."

He (sallallahu `alayhe wa sallam) supplicated for Anas that his wealth and sons increase and that he should live a long life and it was so. He lived for more than one hundred years and not one of the Ansar was richer than he and one hundred and twenty of his children had already been buried before the arrival of al-Hajjaj [to Basrah]. This is detailed further in Sahih Bukhari and others. [bukhari no. 1982]

He supplicated that Islam be strengthened through 'Umar bin al-Khattab or Abu Jahl, and Allah strengthened it through `Umar (radiyAllahu `anhu). He supplicated against Suraqah bin Malik and the feet of his horse sank into the earth and he was thrown off, he called out asking for safe conduct and was granted it, then he asked the Prophet to make a supplication for him.

He supplicated that Allah remove feeling the bitter cold and heat from `Ali and so never did he feel cold or hot. He supplicated for Hudhayfah, the night that he sent him to spy on the Confederates, that he not feel the cold and he did not until he had returned. He supplicated for ibn `Abbas that Allah grant him understanding of the religion and it was so. He supplicated against `Utbah bin Abi Lahb... that Allah cause a dog from amongst his dogs to overcome him and he was killed by a lion at az-Zarqa`. [This is how it is in all of the printed editions; perhaps the author means `Utaybah bin Abi Lahb for this description fits him. As for `Utbah, he accepted Islaam in the year of the Conquest of Mecca.]

He supplicated for the descent of rain when they asked him to at the time of drought. There was not a single cloud in the sky, and then when he had supplicated, the clouds gathered like mountains and it rained until the next Friday. It rained so much that they had to come back and ask him to supplicate and stop the rain, so he supplicated and the rain stopped and they walked out into the glaring sun.

He (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam) supplicated for Abu Talhah and his wife, Umm. Sulaym, that he bless them in the night they had spent together and she became pregnant and gave birth to `Abdullah. He had nine children and all of them were scholars.

He supplicated for the mother of Aba Hurayrah (radhi Allahu `anhu) that she be guided and Aba Hurayrah left to find her performing the ritual bath because she had accepted Islam. He supplicated for Umm Qays bint Muhsin, the sister of `Ukkasha, that she live a long life and we do not know of another woman who lived as long as she did. This was reported by an-Nasa'i the chapter concerning washing the deceased.

On the Day of Hunain he threw a handful of dirt at the disbelievers and said, "May the faces be disfigured", and Allah, the Exalted, vanquished them, filling their eyes with dirt. He once went out to one hundred of the Quraysh who were waiting to do something horrible to him and he put dirt on their head and went on his way without their seeing him.

Muhammad the son of `Abdullah is Allah's Prophet and the Final Messenger Sent by Allah to the Inhabitants of Earth.

My brothers and sisters everywhere! You should know that the Messenger, Muhammad the son of `Abdullah (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) is Allah's Messenger in reality and truth. The evidences that show his veracity are abundant. None but an infidel, who out of arrogance alone, could deny these signs.

Among these proofs:

1. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained like that till his death. Among all his people, he was known as being truthful and trustworthy. Before receiving revelation, he had no prior knowledge of Religion or any previously sent Message. He remained like that for his first forty years. Revelation then came to Muhammad with the Koran that we now have between our hands. This Koran mentioned most of the accounts found in the previous scriptures, telling us about these events in the greatest detail as if he witnessed them. These accounts came precisely as they were found in the Torah sent down to Moses and in the Gospel sent down to Jesus. Neither the Jews or Christians were able to belie him regarding anything that he said.

2. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also foretold of everything that would occur to him and his community after him, pertaining to victory, the removal of the tyrannical kingdoms of Chosroes [the royal title for the Zoroastrian kings of Persia] and Caesar, and the establishment of the religion of Islam throughout the earth. These events occurred exactly as Muhammad foretold, as if he was reading the future from an open book.

3. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also brought an Arabic Koran that is the peak of eloquence and clarity. The Koran challenged those eloquent and fluent Arabs of his time, who initially belied him, to bring forth a single chapter like the Koran. The eloquent Arabs of his day were unable to contest this Koran.

Indeed, till our day, none has ever dared to claim that he has been able to compose words that equal-or even approach-the order, grace, beauty, and splendor of this Glorious Koran.

4. The life history of this Noble Prophet was a perfect example of being upright, merciful, compassionate, truthful, brave, generous, distant from all evil character, and ascetic in all worldly matters, while striving solely for the reward of the Hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of Allah.

5. Allah instilled great love for Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) in the hearts of all who believed in and met him. This love reached such a degree that any of his companions would willingly sacrifice his (or her) self, mother or father for him.

Till today, those who believe in Muhammad honor and love him. Anyone of those who believe in him would ransom his own family and wealth to see him, even if but once.

6. All of history has not preserved the biography of any person in the manner it has preserved the life of Muhammad, who is the most influential human in history.

Nor has the entire earth known of anyone whom every morning and evening, and many times thereafter throughout the day, is thought of by those who believe in him. Upon remembering Muhammad, the believers in him will greet him and ask Allah to bless him. They do such with full hearts and true love for him.

7. Nor has there every been a man on earth whom is still followed in all his doings by those who believe in him.

Those who believe in Muhammad, sleep in the manner he slept; purify themselves (through ablution and ritual washing) in the manner he purified himself; and adhere to his practice in the way they eat, drink, and clothe themselves.

Indeed in all aspects of their lives, the believers in Muhammad adhere to the teachings he spread among them and the path that he traveled upon during his life.

During every generation, from his day till our time, the believers in this Noble Prophet have fully adhered to his teachings. With some, this has reached the degree that they desire to follow and adhere to the Prophet's way in his personal matters regarding which Allah has not sought of them to adhere to in worship. For example, some will only eat those specific foods or only wear those specific garments that the Messenger liked.

Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad repeat those praises of Allah, special prayers, and invocations that he would say during each of his actions during day and night, like: what he would say when he greeted people, upon entering and leaving the house, entering and leaving the Masjid, entering and leaving the bathroom, going to sleep and awaking from sleep, observing the new crescent, observing the new fruit on trees, eating, drinking, dressing, riding, traveling and returning from travel, etc.

Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad fully perform-even to the minute detail-every act of worship-like prayer, fasting, charity, and pilgrimage-as this Noble Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) taught and as he himself performed.

All of this allows those who believe in him, to live their lives in all aspects with this Noble Messenger as their example, as if he was standing before them, for them to follow in all their doings.

8. There has never been nor will there ever be a man anywhere upon this earth who has received such love, respect, honor, and obedience in all matters-small and large alike-as has this Noble Prophet.

9. Since his day, in every region of the earth and during every period, this Noble Prophet has been followed by individuals from all races, colors and peoples. Many of those who followed him were previously Christians, Jews, pagans, idolaters, or without any religion. Among those who chose to follow him, were those who were known for their sound judgment, wisdom, reflection, and foresight. They chose to follow this Noble Prophet after they witnessed the signs of his truthfulness and the evidences of his miracles. They did not choose to follow Muhammad out of compulsion or coercion or because they had adopted the ways of their fathers and mothers.

Indeed many of the followers of this Prophet (may Allah's blessings peace be upon him), chose to follow him during the time when Islam was weak, when there were few Muslims, and when there was severe persecution of his followers on earth. Most people who have followed this Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) have done so not to acquire some material benefits. Indeed many of his followers have suffered the greatest forms of harm and persecution as a result of following this Prophet. Despite all this harm and persecution, this did not turn them back from his religion.

My brethren! All of this clearly indicates to anyone possessing any sense, that this Prophet was truly and really Allah's messenger and that he was not just a man who claimed prophethood or spoke about Allah without knowledge.

10. With all this, Muhammad came with a great religion in its credal and legal make-up.

Muhammad described Allah with qualities of complete perfection, and at the same time in a manner that is free of ascribing to Him any imperfection. Neither the philosophers or the wise could ever describe Allah like such. Indeed it is impossible to imagine that any human mind could conceive of an existing being that possesses such complete ability, knowledge, and greatness; Who has subdued the creation; Who has encompassed everything in the universe, small or large; and Who possesses such perfect mercy.

Nor is it in the ability of any human being to place a perfect law based upon justice, equality, mercy and objectivity for all human activity on earth like the laws that Muhammad brought for all spheres of human activity - like buying and selling, marriage and divorce, renting, testimony, custody, and all other contracts that are necessary to uphold life and civilization on earth.

11. It is impossible that any person conceive wisdom,, morals, good manners, nobleness of characters as what this honorable Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought.

In a full and complete manner, Muhammad spread a teaching regarding character and manners toward one' parents, relatives, fiends, family, humanity, animals, plants and inanimate objects. It is impossible for the human mind alone to grasp all of that teaching or come with a similar teaching.

All of that unequivocally indicates that this Messenger did not bring an) of this religion from his own accord, but that it was rather a teaching and inspiration that he received from the One Who created the earth and the high heavens above and created this universe in its miraculous architecture and perfection.

12. The legal and credal make-up of the religion that the Messenger, Muhammad, (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought resembles the engineering of the heavens and the earth. All of that indicates that He who created the heavens and the earth is the One Who sent down this great law and upright religion.

The degree of inimitability of the Divine law that was sent down upon Muhammad is to the same degree of inimitability of the Divine creation of the heavens and earth. For just as humanity cannot create this universe, in the same manner humanity cannot bring forth a law like Allah's law that He sent down upon His servant and messenger Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him).

Also to offer a new perspective. If Muhammad was a liar, liars have an agenda. Muhammad put his life in danger to tell people the true message and often things he said went against the way the people of his time lived. I don't believe Muhammad would do this if he was just a liar. Muhammad didn't want to be worshipped, he didn't want wealth. Muhammad lived a normal life before he got any messages but after it he had to go through a lot of hard times and move from his own city. Many people wanted to hurt him and did hurt him physically. Why would he do this if everything he said was a lie? I believe Muhammad was an honest man just spreading the true message.

But above there are great points in relation to the message which I agree with.

Based on your question, lets assume Prophet pbuh lied. Assume he wrote the Quran, spread msg to every Christian and Jew etc to follow Islam. I can very easily prove the above statements are wrong

1 Prophet pbuh was an illiterate. He could never write such a masterpiece. ok if you say Arab poets helped him, Allah says clearly no human can reproduce even a single phrase from Quran. Quran is a mix of prose and poetry beyond human intelligence. Allah challenges humans. till date nobody succeeded.

2 How a Prophet, an illiterate can write so many scientific facts perfectly ? You may think he copied from Bible or Torah since it came before Quran. again wrong. facts from Bible and Quran don't match in many ways. Bible has errors. eg. bible tells moon has its own light. Quran says it gets light from Sun. If he had copied, why does it vary? Prophet should have copied it blindly. do you know even the first chapter of Bible about creation of universe varies from Quran? there are many examples of differences.

3 Jesus pbuh had confirmed the coming of the last and final messenger. You can refer Old Testament.

4 Prophet talked about future 1400 years back. Example, he said there would come a time when women will dress like men, there would be homosex, greed for money, murder, brutality etc. how does an illiterate man know all that what's gonna happen 1400 years later? can an illiterate predict it today? even the biggest scientist today cannot predict with accuracy what will happen in the next 100 years.

5 The name of Prophet is mentioned in original Hebrew script in songs of Solomon as Muhammadin.

So why does Bible and Torah have to talk about our Prophet if he was a liar??

In 23 Years, Muslims Went from Being Powerless to Control the World.

The combined annual GDP of 57 Muslim countries remains under $2 trillion. America, just by herself, produces goods and services worth $10.4 trillion  China $5.7 trillion, Japan $3.5 trillion and Germany $2.1 trillion. Even India’s GDP is estimated at over $3 trillion PPP . Oil rich Saudi Arabia, U.A.E., Kuwait and Qatar collectively produce goods and services (mostly oil) worth $430 billion; Netherlands alone has a higher annual GDP while Buddhist Thailand produces goods and services worth over 400 billions $

Moslems are like 21 % of the world population and produce less than five percent of global GDP. Even more worrying is that the Muslim countries’ GDP as a percent of the global GDP is going down over time. The Arabs, it seems, are particularly worse off. According to the United Nations’ Arab Development Report: “Half of Arab women cannot read; One in five Arabs live on less than $2 per day; Only 1 percent of the Arab population has a personal computer, and only half of 1 percent use the Internet.

The Quran and its Eloquence as a Linguistic Miracle.

How can an instrument of human expression prove or disprove the DIVINITY of a text? It’s impossible! Literary excellence is no guarantee of divinity of a text. So It’s futile to throw or accept this challenge, as it would not prove or disprove the divinity of the book even when the challenge is met! The challenge builds on a flawed assumption that if no comparable work exists for a given work, then it must be Divine. By that logic, even Mona Lisa is from God and Meghadootam of Kalidas is the word of God because these masterpieces have no parallels. Right? Another flaw in this challenge is that it sets the challenger as the arbitrator/judge. The biggest blunder of this challenge is that the author of the Quran was unaware of the almost zero structural impact of replacing nouns and pronouns with each other within certain statements/verses . For example, if we change “moslems” with “kafirs” and “kafirs” with “moslems” in any verse of the Quran, we would have created an ANTI-QURAN which matches exactly and undoubtedly with the Quran in literary excellence!!!Finally, it’s utterly dumb of a Creator to challenge his Creation to outdo Him. Why would a sensible creator do that? Imagine a car manufacturer throwing challenge at the car to run above its maximum design speed! Such a manufacturer would need a brain check up as he seems to forget that it is HE ALONE who has put the limits to the speed of his car. If he is not sure about the speed limits of his car, it implies that he lacks complete knowledge of his own product! On the other hand, if he does know the speed limits of the car and still challenges it, he needs mental treatment. Thus either Allah is not omniscient or what ?

Islam is the Only Religion that Makes Sense in Terms of Spirituality and Materialism

In our world, religion becomes more of a shopping center where almost every person could come up with a religion or a version of a religion. It makes it hard to distinguish the true religion from the fake ones. Some have went all spiritual on the scale of spirituality. Others have gone all the way to materialism.

I am not offending but Abrhamic faiths focus more on like a slavish worship and a belief in unseen rather than logic. I have not found an atom worth of spirituality in them tbh fam. Both Islam and Christianity claim that unless you dont belong to their faiths you cant be saved . The concept of christianity is based  upon original sin meaning that our very nature from birth is innately sinful and atonement can only be found through faith in christ's death and resurrection .Islam on the other hand has an idea that if you become moslem and believe in the revelation of muhammed you  will be saved from hell fire .

But Hinduism is not a salvation theology and can be called Sanatana Dharma / Spiritual Satanism where spiritual practice is done to attain higher level of consciousness and elevate to higher plane of existence .

There is no concept of being saved from Hellfire . There is rather an idea that through yoga and meditation you can evolve over time and unite with God and or be like a God . There is no division of world into this class of believers and non believers . Although we acknowledge there are various paths to Truth but not every path could be legitimate . If a religion incite violence terrorism and unrighteousness then obviously such path cannot be accepted and must be destroyed .

Truth for Abrahamic faiths is not a state that one can realize rather it is set of doctrines centered around historic personalities like Moses Jesus Abraham Muhammed David and such . Over centuries these doctrines were discussed developed and consolidated . Eventually they were canonized into a set of texts that became Torah Bible and Quran . At some point they became state religion and now they are dominant faiths in the world - Christianity and Islam .

But the reliance on historical events is critical for these faiths. For instance if it came to light that deeds  and message of Jesus is not as the Bible depicts then this Christian salvation theology will collapse .

Likewise if the Quran was found to have been compiled by many individuals and not the prophet Muhammed then Islam as a Salvation theology would also fall apart .

Santan Dharma and or Spiritual Satanism do not rests on historic events , the goal is to attain higher state of consciousness through Spiritual Practices like Power Meditations , Yoga , Tantra etc .

Scientific Proof in the Quran and the Sunnah

Just to make it clear, the Quran is not a science book but it does not contradict with science.

What do you call the beginning ? Is this the first creation ?

Quran is the Only Book which Has Been Protected from Altercations

The holy Quran has been narrated through narration chains where a large group of narrators who are of very strong memory and minds have narrated the same text from one generation to the next (with the condition of actually meeting each other and listening to each other with no time gaps). This large group of narrators cannot all agree on a lie.

How do you know that ? Elaborate sir  .

God in Islam is the Creator

Most people who do not believe in God have an altered image of God. I do not believe in God who has human qualities. I do not believe in God who is born and can die. I do not believe in God who has human weaknesses. I do not believe in God who hisses and can manifest himself in his creations such as a cow

Ishwar of Vedas = God of Christianity minus the concept of Trinity minus the necessity to surrender to Jesus

Ishwar of Vedas = Allah of Islam minus the necessity to accept Muhammad as final Prophet.

In other words, If someone says first part of Shahada : lâ ilâha illallâh (There is no other God except one and only Allah) but rejects the second part : Muḥammadur rasûlullâh (Muhammad is his messenger), that is close to concept of Vedic God.

In Islam, it is Shirk or greatest sin to worship anything except Allah. If you take this concept further and also refuse to accept any Muhammad or Gabriel as necessary to be remembered apart from Allah, you are avoiding Shirk as per Vedas.

Gods / Jinns/ Demons these are rather devtas the correct Sanskrit word. They are highly elevated beings but are not Ishwara. We worship them to help us elevate to higher planes of existence . Devtas means one who gives . They give us knowledge .

We have whole array of animal deities  so whats actually going on in here ? You have to understand we dont have any commandments that God cant have a form . We dont limit God to one book or any founder . We do however understand truth  lies far more beyond than what the mind can grasp. But at the same time this one God, One reality and one personality can be revealed in many different ways. From the creation we can conclude one thing that God loves diversity . Millions of species ofplants animals , galaxies , universe , planets , the moons , the stars and such . The vast array of Gods and Goddesses are indicative of infinite nature of divinity .

WHY?

Because of secularism .

If you have been to a Masjid, you would know what the word equality means. You would see Americans with Asians with Arabs with Hispanic all in one place; all are brothers who will protect each other and truly love each other.

By dividing humans into the class of believers and disbelievers ?

Consistency of Islam in Changing Times

Whether you are a Muslim or a person who attacks Islam , you would agree that Islam has been constant in these changing times. Nothing else has been constant. Muslims still think the the way of the prophets and the way of success.

Nothing else like what?
