Dipped in Jannah 0 Posted June 20, 2011 I read that "Abdur Rahman" would be Arabic for "Servant of the Beneficient". What would be the same thing for Raheem? Servant of the Merciful? Abdur Rahmeem? I see that "Abdul" (servant) changes (to the genitive), but am not far along enough in Arabic to know if "Abdur Raheem" would be correct. Also, what would "Dipped in Jannah" be in Arabic? Shukran! Younes 202 Posted June 20, 2011 As-salamu alaikum Yes, it would be Abdur-Raheem, like you said. It means servant/slave of the Merciful. I think you should take that name based on your story. Before even read this post of yours, I though you should name yourself AbdurRaheem!
Amna4 68 Posted June 21, 2011 I think AbdurRaheem would be a very fitting name for you, based on your posts.
