Treatment Of Sinners

Recommended Posts

Quran 24.1-2 This is a chapter which We have revealed and made obligatory and in which We have revealed clear communications that you may be mindful. As for the fornicatress and the fornicator, flog each of them, giving a hundred stripes, and let not pity for them detain you in the matter of obedience to Allah.....and let a party of believers witness their chastisement.

This judgement is consistent with the original covenant made with the Jews but stands in clear contrast to the covenant that Allah revealed through His Son Isa - Who, in the Biblical revelation, when confronted by a mob of Jews holding to the original covenant, who had accosted an adulteress, and were preparing to stone her according to their original covenant, instructed that the one without sin amongst them was to cast the first stone at her, resulting in the dispersion of the mob and His instructions to the woman to go and sin no more.

Ask yourselves if we can bring about each others righteousness through threats (as Muhammad's revelation apparently supports) or rather through forgiveness and guidance as Isa (and the One which He reveals) apparently support.

1. Allah does not have a Son

2. It does not matter What is in the bible , because Islam supersedes what has been revealed to Isa Alaihi Salam

3. God Knows better, some people will continue to commit adultery wrecking havoc upon the society and its family structure. They are to prevented from acting on their base desires . Those who are punished are actually forgiven for their sins in this lif and the next.

The Prophet(SWS) was approached by a woman who committed adultery and became pregnant. She said "punish me" and so after she delivered

the child, the Prophet(SWS) tied her clothes and enacted the punishment. Upon being asked the Prophet (SWS) said "She has repented so strongly that if it

were distributed amongst seventy people of Madinah, it would accommodate them(that is, her repentance would be good enough for all of them.) (11)
