How To Learn To Read Arabic.

Recommended Posts

I'm having difficulty finding time to study Arabic indepth and I really want to laern to read it first and learn how the letters connect. Are there any websites or interactive websites taht could help learn how to read the language. The problem isn't the right to left thing I can read Hebrew so learning the characters are also not the major issue. It's more that its always written in cursive and that the letter sometimes cross and usually have 4 variations each.

Also I would recommend busuu(contact admin if its a beneficial link) its a very interactive website for learning many languages including arabic.

Hopefully they will get you started but there are also special arabic courses for learning the quran, this is the best one I have come across (you are not allowed to post links yet)"you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_understandquran(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/courses/short-course-1/english-2011/lesson-1.html"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_understandquran(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/courses/short-c...1/lesson-1.html[/url]

There is a chart at the bottom of this page, I printed it out and hung it on my wall. That way I saw it often, and it helped me learn them very quickly. It has all four positions (Initial, Middle, End, and Isolated).
