"Say [Prophet], ‘It has been  revealed to me that a group of jinn once listened in and said, “We have  heard a wondrous Qur' an, that gives guidance to the right path, and we  have come to believe it..." [surah Al-Jinn 72:1-2]

The World of Jinn or Spirits is one of the most misunderstood  concepts in Islam. There is so much confusion around it as the Jinn live  a parallel life to humans yet with hardly any concious contact between  them. The Jinn can have a phenomenal effect on humans as Iblees or  Shaithan himself is one of the Jinn. However the good side of the Jinn  is often forgotten. Surah Al-Jinn provides us with a balanced  description of them by way of a conversation a group of them had after  they heard the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This is a fascinating Surah that unveils immense spiritual secrets that are much needed in this materialistic day and age.
