For The Pleasure Of Allah

Recommended Posts

As-salam-alaikum,

"For the pleasure of Allah", kindly forgive my ignorance but I need more understanding about this phrase.

We have to do everything for the pleasure of Allah, many things or most of the things we do are for ourselves, how to make our mind that we are doing it for the pleasure of Allah?

How to do every work for the pleasure of Allah?

Wa 'alaikumu as-salam

If you what you are doing is done in the proper context, i.e. obeying and not disobeying Allah, then it is for Allah's pleasure although what you might be doing is for you. If you do things within the limits Allah has set, aren't you striving for His pleasure?

Peace to all. For the purpose whether one is doing for sake of Almighty Allah (SWT) or for personal interest can be easily judged by an instinct known as sixth sense. If a person is doing a thing you are doing in righteous way it will provide you satisfaction otherwise it will prompt, blame and accuse you.
