fathi 140 Posted December 16, 2013 as salaam alaiykum, I am out a lot from my home so I really need something clean to pray on. I am a bit strapped for cash right now which is the only reason I am even asking. I will gladly give shipping details, it doesn't have to be the most beautiful prayer rug in the world. All I am looking for is a prayer rug I can use for my salaahs when I am not at home and I am not able to make it to the masjid
ParadiseLost 333 Posted December 16, 2013 wa alaykum as salaam brother if you have another material small enough like a towel it is sufficient as long as it is clean.

dot 353 Posted December 17, 2013 When we're out and no masjid is around, we usually pray on grass. It feels great. Also any dry ground would do. If you'r worried about your pants catching dust, pray on a newspaper or something. Its not practical to carry a prayer rug everywhere you go.

dot 353 Posted December 18, 2013 If you're living in an Islamic country, you will not see people walking with prayer rugs. I don't even use a prayer rug at home. Its best to place your forehead on the ground. Scientists found that Islamic payer is beneficial, because when you touch the ground in 7 points, you're actually discharging static electricity that your body gets from all the synthetic materials around us. Static interferes with our tiny internal electric charge that the our organs use to regulate stuff like heart pumping, blood pressure, pulse etc.

fathi 140 Posted December 20, 2013 (edited) What will the cost of shipping from Indonesia to Dixie ¿? https://www.fedex.com/ratefinder/standalone?method=originCountryChange There are too many variables for me to answer that question fairly. However, I will inform you that according to the oppresive powers Dixie is part of the U.S. It is the southeast. I live in Anniston Alabama presently. I refer to it as Dixie because my view is that the southern U.S. is part of the country by coercion rather than by desire.
