evolution is a process, not a system, religion,

philosophy or  a scientific axiom. Atheists love using it to try and

explain the ridiculous infinitesimally small probability that we came

from microbes a long time ago on another planet and floated through

space and fell onto this rock and then over a some billions of years we

became the high and fully functioning beings we are today. . What other

ground do you have to stand on?

You don't have to be an atheist to understand that the Theory of Evolution is the best explanation for the diversity of species and their similarities. You only need to study the information without the presumption that it is wrong. Also, it does not deal with the probability of life occuring on earth.

Freedom is the right to dignity, life property and thought. Everything
else  in the understanding of what is "freedom" is grey . However the freedom of thought does not imply the freedom of expression. The later can lead to a great deal of evil, incitement to
violence and dehumanisation, corruption and hurt. The recent and most unfortunate events in France in January are extremely sad and there is no justificaiton for these Vigilante methods. Muslims must realise that we need to defend of the honour of the Prophet by setting a good example as muslims and living as proper guests in the countries of our residence. The Blasphmers would be dealt within an Islamic court but not by random methods of justice and wanton violence, this can lead to alot of trouble in society as muslims are experiencing. We need to act with wisdom and need to spread the spiritual teachings of Islam, These offensive cartoons are getting so much media attention alot more around the world then they ever had in 30 years. All because of two men who made the wrong choice to talke the law into their own hands.

Beautiful blessed Ayah of Quran that gives solace to the muslimeen in these difficult times...

Surah Aal-e-Imran, Verse 186:

Assuredly ye will be tried in your property and in your persons, and ye
will hear much wrong from those who were given the Scripture before
you, and from the idolaters. But if ye persevere and ward off (evil),
then that is of the steadfast heart of things.

Regarding DUA to Allah: Allah’s promise to the believers

Allah has asserted in no
uncertain language about Him listening to our dua. Consider the
following verses from the Quran and prophet’s (s)Hadith:

Allah says:

image_thumb2.png

(Interpretation of the meaning):

“And your Lord said: Invoke Me (i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islamic Monotheism) and ask Me for anything)
I will respond to your (invocation). Verily, those who scorn My worship
[i.e. do not invoke Me, and do not believe in My Oneness, (Islamic
Monotheism)] they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!”
[surah Ghaafir, 40:60]

I think from my little knowledge that blog writing about Islam is a way of Dawah. So I will appreciate if you do that. But there should have sahih reference of your writing...

I dont understand...

Normally if you right click on your mouse you will see a list of options. One of them is called 'copy'. If you highlight the text you want to copy you will be able to save it on the 'clipboard'

Then if you wish to transfer it somewhere you then right click on your mouse once more and you should see an option which says 'paste'. This should then enable you to transfer (paste) whatever it was that you originally 'copied' onto the clipboard.

Except this doesn't seem to work on this forum! Let's see:

Allah

Now it's done it, so forget what I said!!

Salaam,

Wahid

So I'll try again: Now it's working!

"I think that, ideally, one would hope for a 'meeting of minds'. Mutual
understanding is the best method of communication by far , given the right
spirit.

But one of the issues, I think, relating to Muslims and non-Muslims is that a gulf of misunderstanding exists due to a lack of mutual culteral education. This is possibly the most important issue facing the world during
these difficult times I beleve.

For example, many Muslims probably have very little comprehension of what is

generally called: 'The Enlightment' of the latter part of the 20th century in Europe
and beginning hundreds of years earlier, and so on.

Such philosophical and ideological ideas being discussed in a depth not seen since the days of Ancient
Greece etc. Voltaire, Keirkegarde, John Locke J.P. Sarte etc etc.

The converse - rather unfortunately, in my view, is the lack of general

discussion of post Muhammadan Arab and Persian thought etc, which is not
allowed on this Forum, as I understand it. Such thought systems that Ibn-el-Arabi and Rumi produced
(known as Sufis and Devishes and so on) for example. All worthy of study in my
opinion and certainly not un-aligned with mainstream Islamic thought.

But there we are."

Sincerely,

Wahid
