Heart Of The Qur'an.

Recommended Posts

Salaam everyone,

Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the [Noble] Prophet, may Allah bless and grant him peace, has said:--

"Everything has a heart, and the heatr of the Qur'an is Ya-Sin. Allah records anyone who

recites Ya-Sin as having recited the Qur'an 10 times." [Tirmidhi, vol.2 pg. 116 and Daarimi vol. 2, page 336].

In view of this, we should be reciting Surat Ya-Sin (chapter 36 of the Holy Qur'an) regularly, and also mark... imbibe lessons it teaches.

Regards.

Salaam,

So there are passages which carry greater weight in Al Qur'an? How do we know which passages are of greater weight and which one's are not as weighty?

Wa'salaam

On the whole, Surah Yaseen is considered as the heart of the holy Quran because there is a hadith from the apostle of Allah (peace be upon him and his household) that said:There is a heart for everything, and the heart of the Quran is Surah Yaseen.
