Consider Verse 3, Surat Najm.

Recommended Posts

As-Salaam alaikum,

In verse 3 of Surat Najm of the Holy Qur'an (53:3), Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, says:--

"HE SPEAKS NOT FROM CAPRICE; IT IS NOUGHT BUT A REVELATION

        REVEALED."

This is in reference to the Noble Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam. His words and acts were all refined, for his speech was/is the decisive truth; free from everything that people mingle with their words... of lies or other imperfections. Being aided with inerrancy, and chosen for the Divine Revelation, he spoke and acted solely at the Lord's Command. Blessed are those who emulate him, are guided by him and practice his Sunnah.

O Lord, Allah, Grant us perfection in following Your Messenger, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, in his character, conduct and speech. Guide  and Help us to achieve this; grant us sincerity and truthfulness in doing this; make us live and die following him, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, until the Day You reunite us in Your Abode of Honor... ameen.
