Abu Hafsat 8 Posted July 9, 2017 As-Salaam alaikum, In Ayat 269 of Surat Baqra of the Holy Qur'an, Allahu, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, says:-- "...AND HE WHO IS GIVEN WISDOM HAS BEEN GIVEN MUCH GOOD." In considering this Ayat in his Tafsir, Sayyadi Sahl Ibn Abdullah al-Tustari, may Allah be Merciful to him, indicated that Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated from the Prophet, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, that he said:-- "The Qur'an is Allah's wisdom (hikma) among His servants. Whoever learns the Qur'an and acts according to it, it is as if Prophethood were incorporated within him, except that he does not receive revelation. He is called to account in the same way as Prophets except in the matter of conveying the message." And Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, also stated that the Prophet, sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, said:-- "The Qur'an is wisdom, and whoever learns the Qur'an in his youth, it mingles with his flesh and blood. And surely the Fire cannot touch a heart which contains the Qur'an, nor a body which avoids that which it prohibits, and keeps to what it permits, believes in that which is clear in it, refrains from judgement in that which is ambiguous in it, and does not make innovations regarding it."
