Hashi Al-Eritre 0 Posted February 21, 2005 (edited) Assalaamu 'alaikom wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, The most important deed a Muslim can do in pleasing Allah, after having eemaan in Him, is to fulfill his daily Prayers. Alhamdulillah we have already mentioned a few books related to Tawheed and other aspects of Aqeedah (beliefs). So after a Muslim has perfected his Tawheed and all of its important branches, he/she must perfect his Prayer. 'Sifat as Salat an Nabi - The Prophets Prayer Described' by Shaikh Nasir-ud-Deen al-Albaanee (rahimahullah) is the most authentic book on the Prophet's sulAllahu 'alayhi wassalaam Prayer there is in english. Its also been translated in many other languages and is one of the best selling Islamic books worldwide. The book goes step by step through every act of the Salat and explains the best manner in performing them, referencing every act with proof from the Sunnah and statements of the Companions radiAllahu 'anhum. It also includes an appendix where the Shaikh expounds upon the authenticity of some ahadeeth related to Salat. Alhamdulillah the publishers have allowed an online transcription of the book. You can read the book in its entirety on the net: "you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.qss(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/articles/salah/toc.html"]Sifat as Salat an Nabi - The Prophets Prayer Described To purchase the book: visit "you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.dkh-Islam(contact admin if its a beneficial link)"]you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.dkh-Islam(contact admin if its a beneficial link) There is also an abridged version of the book online and in some bookstores: "you can't post links until you reach 50 posts_www.muslimer(contact admin if its a beneficial link)/albani.pdf"]The Abridgement of Book 'The Prophets Prayer Described' feel free to pm or e-mail me if you have any questions or comments. wassalaamu 'alaikom Edited February 21, 2005 by Hashi Al-Eritre
